>turn off le can see now ?
>My RTG does exactly that!!! Like urs, my RTG used to be housed alone until i added 3 TFBs but when lights off then it will touch down hahaha
>Bro, check ur water parameters. Hows the appetite?
Aro shld not be stagnant like this for so long ..
>bro Lolipod. As long as it is eating well and water parameters are okay, then can only guess that it is your aros unique habit.
He may have found a secluded area in the tank which give him personal space and safety.
If I have extra tank, I may remove the ray and observe what happen, or move the aro to the other tank and see what happen next, or change tank setup ... experimental test

>Hi bro,
Had the same problem with my ex xb aro. I kept in since juv at less than 3", the aro was growing and doing well to about 10", than one day decided to hide at one corner, it became a different fish I knew. And it only came out when the lights were off at night. I did everything I could; introducing more tank mates, wc after wc, medications, redecorate the tank, etc, etc. Still no effect, the aro refuse to swim. During feeding time, it allows the food to sink and reach the bottom of the tank before eating the food, also its appetite reduced tremendously. In short, the aro is "lifeless"; this is not what I hope to see in my aro and made keeping the aro increasingly boring. I wanted to see the graceful swim and its "cannibal" ways of eating its food like before. Anyway, after 3 months, I had enough of its hide and seek game, decided to change to a new aro. Strangely, the water was not change, all water parameters, tank decoration and everything else remains the same but the new aro is totally the opposite, it swims none stop was never seen at the bottom of the tank. It amazes me every time it swims to greet me and its increasing appetite and the joy of seeing it grows... I did make the painful decision to replace it but the choice is yours....
>Bro lolipod, maybe ur lights too strong to the Aro, just my thought.
